*New* 3D Solid Alumilite Pen Blanks (square)
Our 3D Solid Alumilite Pen Blanks are cast in a variety of designs and colours using Alumilite Clear Polyurethane resin. The patterns are cast through the centre of the blank with solid Alumilite (not 3d printed filament) so are easier to turn than 3D printed Core Blanks. The pattern can be seen on two sides of the pen once turned (unless stated otherwise).
These blanks are easy to turn using very fast lathe speeds and super sharp tools taking light passes, however I felt that due to pigments rather than mica being used in some of these blanks (particularly the white blanks), that finishing/sealing the pen with a few coats of CA or Melamine gave a more durable longer lasting finish. With being solid Alumilite they should also be suitable for threading for custom/kitless pen caps. If needed we can also make matching blanks for the pen bodies, Contact Us for more details.
Although at present most of the blanks are designed around a sierra sized tube, the patterns and blanks are various lengths so please see individual photos for specific details.
Note: These blanks are cast in multiple stages, some blanks are more complex and time consuming than others, so prices vary on individual patterns.
