FAQ
How do I insert the plugs into the "Less-Resin" mould?
Place the tubes into the mould, push the plugs into the tubes ensuring there is an even gap at each end of the mould.
Apply a small amount of pressure inwards on the plugs with your index fingers.
Next, whilst maintaining pressure inwards on the plugs, place your thumbs inside the mould and pull the mould walls slightly outwards.
This will ensure a snug fit of the plugs and prevent any resin seepage.
How do I remove the plugs from the "Less-Resin" mould?
You should be able to remove the plugs with your fingers by twisting to break the seal, then simply pull them out, but if you find this too difficult you can use a small pair of pliers.
How should I store my mould?
Store moulds in a cool, dry area and out of sunlight. Store moulds in their original, undistorted shape. If they are left in a distorted position (e.g., the mould is placed over top of another object) for any length of time, it may never recover to its original shape. Store block moulds flat and do not stack them on top of or underneath other moulds or objects. Do not allow moulds made of one type of silicone to remain in contact with moulds made of other Silicone when in storage. This may cause migration of oils or plasticizers which can cause swelling, shrinking, or distortion.
Why are your Addition cure moulds more expensive than your condensation cure moulds?
The cost of the addition cure silicone is considerably more expensive than the condensation cure and the price reflects the difference we pay between the two.
Do you offer a discount or free delivery on larger orders
Unfortunetely not as all our moulds and blanks are very labour intensive, with the cost of materials and other overheads there is very little profit/mark up in them so we have allready priced our products as keenly as possible.
